HAF Programme
Fun & Food: Our Holiday Activities Programme
The Government’s Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) programme is designed to support vulnerable young people outside of usual school hours. This vital funding aims to provide an enjoyable, safe space where young people on free school meals can participate in creative holiday programmes at no cost.
Utilizing our strong partnership of schools, ECP proudly coordinated a fantastic array of activities over Easter across four different sites, with funding generously provided through Enfield Council.
Making a Difference This Easter
We were thrilled to provide 9 days of engaging activities for over 200 children and young people on free school meals in Edmonton. They thoroughly enjoyed a diverse range of activities, including:
- Drama
- Arts
- Music
- Sports
- Fitness-based activities
Beyond the fun, we ensured they received nutritious food during the day, meal kits to take home, and even a few well-deserved ice creams!
We are incredibly proud to have run this programme in partnership with a team of fantastic local organizations who helped make it such a success.
