Trevor Blackman is a passionate and experienced leader in youth, community, and creative development. With over 20 years of frontline and strategic experience, he has mentored thousands of young people and adults—co-producing opportunities that help individuals realise their full potential.
As CEO of ECP, Trevor brings a bold, no-nonsense leadership style rooted in advocacy, equity, and impact. Under his leadership, ECP delivers a wide range of projects focused on empowering young people, supporting vulnerable families, and building inclusive communities across Edmonton and beyond.
ECP’s work includes innovative mentoring programmes, community hubs, sports engagement, and wellbeing initiatives—all designed to break down barriers and create lasting positive change. A Clore Leadership Programme fellow, Trevor was selected as part of the British Council’s Cultural Leaders International Scheme—recognising his influence in cultural and civic spaces. Known for his strong management skills and unshakable belief in people.
